About 3 years ago my mom became very sick and we had no idea what was going on with her, even the doctors weren't sure and seemed to be making things worse. After a few days of testing She was eventually diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and they were able to help my mom. This is when I decided to dive deeper into health and nutrition, I felt helpless watching my mom in pain while she was in the hospital, I needed to learn how I can help without using man made drugs and chemicals. So I thought to myself why arent we being taught more about preventative care? Why did mom's condition get so bad even though she seemed healthy and normal just days before she was diagnosed? What steps do I take to prevent this from happening in the future to others that I care about? These questions led me to the right teachers that shared the proper information to learn how to prevent disease. My mom has since made a great recovery with the help of some holistic doctors and diet and lifestyle changes.
